Hello, this illustration seems fun :) I think it depends on what you want the composition to convey. This currently put the focus on the character on the right. The left one is put out of focus. So that might be what you want if you want to imply we are seeing the POV of the left one. If you want to convey more connection between the two, move the left one closer. I would also swap the contrast : put the background in dark and the character in light to add focus on the characater. Also check the proportion of the table/chairs, the best way is to check against a mannequin of you character. The chair should reach knee high, the table waist high. I would add some leaves on the left foreground to frame the picture. The overlapping shape add deepness. Last point : If you watch the artwod short "Composition is all about THIS" publish on 29 july. it tell that you should not put your main character in the dead zone except to create stress.
