Hello there! Well, I made this drawing to show the forms of the body using simple shapes. :) Although I have to admit that top-down views can be a bit tricky, lol. But always keep the perspective and/or camera angle in mind. In this case, we’re looking at the character from above, so ideally we should be able to see more of the top planes of the body. Establishing a simple base first makes it much easier to draw the clothing afterward, since the clothes will wrap around and follow the forms of that base. :) Hope this helps!
