“idk if packing the background is the fix, maybe one darker mass behind his shoulders and leave the sides quieter so he still owns the frame”

“maybe block the big hair silhouette and one clean aura shape first, then add the markings back in smaller groups so the face stays clear.”

“the hat reads kinda separate from the hand, maybe tuck the thumb over the brim and let two fingers wrap the underside so the grip and the pose feel connected.”

“maybe the face gets easier if you drop the eyes a little and draw the jaw as one simple curve so it reads before the hair”

“idk if cleaning the lines first helps much, maybe set one light side on the big forms so the volume reads then the edges can stay a bit rough”

“idk if more folds is the fix, maybe block the torso and waist first then wrap the shirt and skirt around those shapes so the cloth sits on the body before you add detail”

“maybe keep the nose as one small wedge tied to the brow and chin center line first, then add only one side shadow so it stays simple without flattening the face”

“maybe block the big figure as a few simple shapes first, then check the main light and dark groups before adding the small costume details so the pose and values read more clearly.”

“maybe block the two characters as simple rounded shapes first, then check their overlap and size before adding the glow so the pose reads more clearly.”

“idk if adding more is the move yet. hat and staff already give her the witch read. maybe plant the stance first, one hip up and the other leg softer, then the cloak can follow that instead of hanging ”

“maybe the mouth reads off because it sits pretty low and wide under the nose. luffy's grin is more a shallow curve tucked closer up, corners inside the eye line. also keeping the top lip line thin and”

“maybe the folds arent really the issue. the hip block reads flat, so if you draw the pelvis as a box first and hang the pleats off that edge the triangles start pointing somewhere. also fewer folds, t”

“the orb and the flame are sitting on the props. maybe let them hit the ground and the clothes so the two figures share a space”

“kickstarter posters usually need one clear read. maybe push the character and fox a bit larger and keep the ground quieter so they pop”
