I am pretty happy with my character and her rendering but am wondering how i can improve the background sakura tree. (it just looks like cotton candy) I want to know how to improve especially since im entering art in high school next year.

I feel like when I zoom in on the sleeping girl, it looks fine, but zoomed out there is a lot of dimension missing. I'm also unsure about the floor. Thanks for any tips :)

Feedback on head study

I did some rembert montald study recently and i try to apply what i've learn from that study but i don't know why after learning some new hatching thecnique and did some Skull study i still feel the head is a bit flat, any tips to make the head a bit more 3d??
