Hello! Lovely piece! I thought the main character of the painting could benefit with taking up more space inside the canvas, she was a little lost in the negative space there, and darkened it a bit to give some contrast with her eyes to make her pop. For the atmosphere, I think a lotus leave over her head adds to the storytelling of the piece by suggesting that she’s spying on someone while trying to stay hidden (I don’t know what kind of atmosphere you’re going for, so I improvised). I also darkened the left side of the picture and added a glow effect to the water to give it a dreamy feeling to the painting. The perspective of the leaves was also a bit off (a full circled leave means we’re directly looking down at it and it’s too much of an extreme perspective to me for what this piece implies), so I fixed those too.
