Here are a few ideas: chained to... their fallen body the weapon which slayed them the creature/character who killed them Answer some questions: who was this before they died, were they already chained up, why did they come back as a ghost, why do they need the armour, what other properties does it have that it can be wearing armour and be chained, what is their current goal (revenge, find someone , save someone, ...) Maybe asking the right questions will lead you to why they are chained up and what they are chained too. Good luck
