Hi Hi He look cute! I always liked chibi style! Establishing a specific light source, utilizing layer blending modes (such as Multiply and Overlay), and working from flat base colors toward detailed rendering are all part of setting up light and dark in digital artwork. Apply flat base colors to the head, body, and background of your subject on a new layer beneath the clean line art on the top layer. To show where the light is coming from, draw a cone or an arrow in the corner of your painting. We can next begin darkening our artwork once our base is prepared. On top of your base colors, create a new layer and select Multiply as the blend mode. To keep the shadows inside the lines, clip this layer to your base color layer. To define the terminator—the boundary where light becomes shadow—use a harsher brush. This method of cell shading is frequently used to establish the rendering base. To achieve volume, it is critical that you stick to the form construction you produced using linework. Hope it helps!
