Hi Hi! Very cool composition! It's good that you are taking on big challenges for practice! Removing purple as your shadow color would be the first step. On top of your established painting, you can use the purple tone for mood. What I am trying to say is that every element in your drawing—figures, clothing, background, etc.—should have a clear, flat color. Next, cast shadows on each of these components based on the direction of the light. Since the majority of the lighting in this area originates from signs and vending machines, you can apply a single dark multiply layer over the entire drawing and only remove the areas that would be affected by these diffused lights. Use several filter layer settings, including Overlay, to achieve that particular artificial light for the neon glowing appearance. Since you have a lot of components to deal with, keep each process tidy, clean, and distinct. Additionally, it makes it easier for you to modify each layer. Hope it helps!
