hi! so i think the main problem are the planes. i figured the light comes from top and above based on the hades on the hat. because of that i added more light to the top part of the cheek, nose and above the upper lip, but more shade to the side of the face, under the nose and upper lip. i've made the ear slightly bigger and more defined, it was a bit too small. colors are mostly fine, i love the color variation on the hat, it looks lovely! but i think this piece could benefit from a bit of reflected blue from the sky in shades so i've added exactly the color of the sky in all shadow area on skin if roughly 10-20% opacity. i kept the edges of shadow area untouched so it would serve as a scattered light from under the skin i've decided not to change the anatomy. it's not textbook perfect but it looks a lot like me irl :) there is a lot of joy in drawing imperfect faces and seeing someone like you | Artwod Feedback
