Hi there, your character looks so cool buddy, I tried my best at it hope its helpful. Main things going wrong to me here are, the shapes, I feel like you could try to make bigger grouped shapes meant to follow the head structure ( think of the planes of the head) instead of smaller shapes and details, first get the big shapes and overall look and forms going and then you can go in and throw your details in. Then theres also the brushwork, it's a bit messy, some of your brushstrokes indicate form and small plane changes where there shouldn't be, try to round your edges so it follows form better, soften the edges on the hairline. Most of what I said, you might be able to better grasp by doing head studies from reference and better observation, look for the places of the face that usually catch more light, how the shadow turns etc. Also try not to touch the border of the canvas with the elements of your drawing, specially on portraits, either leave a space (like I did at the top) or go through it (like I did at the bottom). Once again I hope this helps, and keep going. | Artwod Feedback
