When I first started drawing characters without references, I also felt like I couldn't do anything right. But over time, as you build up a visual library in your head, it gets much easier. In any case, this is an excellent piece! In my opinion, the jawline looks pretty good. The details are great—I love how much work went into the eye. However, looking at the drawing as a whole, it feels like all the most interesting and beautiful details are crowded into the top-left corner. All the focal points are concentrated there, making the composition feel top-heavy. I’d suggest spreading them out a bit. For example, you could shift the camera angle slightly and move the strap down, making it more high-contrast. The eye is gorgeous, but it looks like it’s drawn from a front-facing angle, while the girl herself is in a three-quarter view. Also, the hand holding the gun is a bit low; raising it would help distribute the points of interest better. One last thing there is a pretty sharp curve where the neck meets the body. I’d recommend smoothing that out and aligning the body and neck more into the same plane. | Artwod Feedback
