Hi there sorry for the wait!! Honestly, don't worry about the rant, if anything, I could recognise exactly how you're feeling. Some of my first comissions were also portraits just like this one and I've been through the trenches with that process as well so I really hope I can help you out a little bit! Disclaimer: I have *no* idea what these kids look like so any feedback I can give is going to be structural only of course, not likeness c: I think with portraits, especially kid portraits, it is crucial you get the proportions right. Babies/kids/teens... all have different facial proportions. So the distance between those features and their size is crucial to look at, before anything else. Other than that, I think the necks were probably a little bit too wide and I've simplified the hair a little bit. I really hope it helps, don't get discouraged!
