Hello hello! Lovely face! You created a good base, great job! As we draw, we must use thicker and thinner lines to create intriguing linework. You have already set yourself up for success; all you need now is a little encouragement. It will take some time for you to figure out where to put them, but here are some guidelines: use thicker lines for key points like the mouth, nose, and eyes, but also use them for shadows. They are a sign of occlusion shadows, which are the most confined, softest, and deepest shadows in art. Occlusion shadows appear where two surfaces touch or are close to one another, obstructing nearly all surrounding light. For light and details that will not distract too much from focal areas, you should utilize thinner lines. Regardless of the topic you are developing, both strategies are effective for simple linework. Overall, eyes are great; they simply require a small amount of tweaking. Excellent work! Use the huge > medium > little principle when it comes to hair. The large, main shape surrounds the head and defines the hairstyle; the medium breaks it with hair stripes that we want to show for depth; and the final touches are little elements that might add realism to the hair (smaller stripes). Hope it helps!
