Hello hello! These look nice! Great choice of practice but you might consider adding more value group. Here is what i mean: Value grouping simplifies complex forms into 3–4 distinct tonal masses—lights, darks, and mid-tones—to create strong, organized compositions..Light, mid-tone, and dark are the fundamental building blocks of value grouping, but you want to enlarge each to create a stronger sense of dimension. We want to avoid, for instance, combining values from light and shadow, so be careful to do it subtly. Before adding any values, you can create grayscale on the side and use it as a palette for your drawing to avoid second guessing. Along with that, make sure you help yourself using a 3D Asaro head. Each plane of the face have different value, depending where the light source comes from. Stay away from super strong black and leave that only for the places where light doesn't hit at all (for example, nostrils, corner of the eyes and mouth). To make everything clean, use layers separation for each value. Once you are satisfied with the result, blend them carefully. Finish it off by adding highlights only on planes where light hits the most. Hope it helps! | Artwod Feedback
