I feel you! Ellipses are a pain for a lot of us haha. So first of all, we need to understand that an elipse its a circle in perspective right? And a circle fits in a square. When yo do this kind of perspective exercises you need to draw that same square in perspective (if you draw a rectangular plane your elipse will feel weird or it wont fit) Even if your square plane in perspective its not perfect it needs to be "close enough" Then mark the halfs (as you already did) just remember to follow the perspective of the plane when you mark the center lines zand the rest its practice. My advice is to draw from your elbow or shoulder and find a correct pace. If your stroke its to fast it becomes difficult to control and less accurate, if you are to slow you'll end un with a wooblee line or chicken scratch. And focus on touching all four points marked on the face of your plane with the elipse. One last thing, try to be more careful with the convergence of you perspective lines, if you get the box wrong it will mess up your elipse when you try to fit it in. Keep up the good work. | Artwod Feedback
