Hi hi! You made a great first step in posing: mannequin! Always do these if you are unsure how figures will be placed in space. Also pushing your limits are key for successful learning! Posing was fine, however the mannequin's perspective was incorrect, resulting in flat figures. When creating geometric shapes in perspective, pay close attention to how they twist, overlap, and foreshorten. The hips, legs, and torso positions were the main problems here. Typically, the spheres that depict the hips are positioned on the side of the pelvis box rather than beneath it. The background figure's torso can be extended, but only little; otherwise, it will look incorrect. Regarding the pose itself, you did a great job and it seems like a fun idea. Take care not to lose perspective when creating organic shapes on top. Everything discussed here is applicable to every stage of character development. Hope it helps and have fun! | Artwod Feedback
