Hi there, sorry for the wait! I think it's definitely an interesting question to think about what makes something art worthy (and if it should be in the first place!). I changed the contrast a bit between the two sides of your piece to amplify the two moods, but really my advice would be to see if there is just one thing you can let the viewer focus on, as you have quite a lot of things in this composition fighting for attention.
