Seems like you're doing great research on your mermay. Since its only a day left I would just pick one of your designs and try to render that and don't worry about posing and composition at this moment. Making a character design can be difficult enough. Once you are more familiar with compositions you can always try to pose it in a scene. I feel the first one with the red hair looks interesting and she seems to sit on a rock looking at a creature (also make that simple, just do a simple blob with eyes :D ) Then you can dedicate the rest of your time doing nice linework. Maybe even hold off on the colors!
