Hi hi! Great idea and i like the mood! To make it bit better,we have to develop a workflow. You already have good linework but you can make it more rich. Utilize tithing and thick lines to push volume in your drawings .Use thin lines to indicate lightened surfaces and ticker for focal points + shadows. Along with it,don't forget to add occlusions where light doesn't reach at all (dont overdo it). Setting up a light source—in this case, the light from the top—is necessary for a nice render. Arrange the shadows on multiple levels, match the principal shadow to the character elements, and use a neutral color for the shadows (typically warm for cool light and cold for warm light). You can experiment with textures on the drawing's light side during the finishing touches.I used the Overlay layer for light and the Multiply layer for shadows. Over flat hues that should not be overly bright or dark, both must be balanced (not too dark or too saturated). You can also play around with light-colored textures, but be careful not to go overboard. You can apply more darker gradients, but keep them subtle, to create the appearance of murky water. Hope it helps! | Artwod Feedback
