Hey there! Nice work on these gesture drawings! :) That said, I'd recommend putting more emphasis on capturing the shape of the torso, because I personally think that's one of the most important aspects of gesture drawing. One approach I really like is combining the box forms that represent the rib cage and pelvis with the classic bean shape. Mixing these two ideas helps me capture the movement of the torso while also suggesting its perspective. I also find that this construction makes it much easier to indicate the chest and pelvis later on. :) Once you have that foundation, you can build the limbs using simple I, C, and S curves. It's a fairly simple approach, but as you can see, these techniques do a great job of describing the body in a clear and dynamic way. There are plenty of great videos on YouTube that explain these methods in more detail. I'd also recommend studying and even imitating the drawing process of artists you like so you can better understand their workflow and apply those techniques yourself. Hope this helps! :) | Artwod Feedback
