Hey, Inkdiot! Pff... what an illustration! I absolutely love the dark atmosphere, and I'm always amazed by how people come up with such cool ideas like this! :D I'd only make a few adjustments to the values to strengthen the overall contrast. I think it would work better if the light coming through the window only highlighted the creature's silhouette instead of illuminating the top of its body. Personally, I like the idea of keeping most of the creature in darker values to make it feel even more mysterious. I also moved the candle a bit to the left because the flame was getting lost against the bright window, creating a light-against-light situation. By shifting it to the side, you get a much stronger light-against-dark contrast, allowing the flame to stand out much more clearly. Lastly, the light you've painted across the front of the tablecloth pulls a bit too much attention away from the focal point. I'd recommend grouping the values in that area into darker tones so the viewer's eye stays focused on the creature. Hope this helps! :) | Artwod Feedback
