Without changing anything except for adding contrast throughout, but mainly in the foreground you can see how it can change the mood and depth of the piece. Always start in the background with les saturation and move forward increasing the saturation and contrast(the difference between your darks and lights should be greater as you come forward) the most details and contrast will be in the foreground for depth.
