First thing love the cool and spooky setting and I have 3 tips that I think might help you 1. Something that unique to comics is that part of the art is the layout where each frame sits on the page how it transitions from 1 to another with or without borders there are many fun and cool ways to explore I recommend to take inspiration from other comic artist’s layout and experimenting in creation cool new ones too Also observe what emotions the layout adds does the character feels trapped free happy thing going badly etc How does the layout leads the eye to see the whole comic in the right order and not be confusing (searching on YouTube comic layout tutorial could be a good start) 2. Exaggerate all you have is your art to show the emotions and to tell your story you have a great starting point but what will happen if you pushed the expressions background charecter design and borders more Your better at creating scary atmosphere which is impressive and good So I think if you will let yourself push things to be even more scary and not hold back as much on spooky creepy and scary things it will be good Also another way to show something is scary is to show peoples reactions so exaggerating those help too 3.becuse comics unlike movies and shows don’t have sound or movement Comic artists need to create the illusion in other ways For example scribbled sharp lines next to shoulder to show shaking Extra lines next to the eye to show its shaking out of fear Writing the word of the sound with a lil drawing next to it to fit the vibe the click and 3 sharp lines going out Feel free to look what other comics do to show stuff like that and take inspo and even invent your own if you feel like Last one thing I hope you’ll have a lot of fun making comics and exploring that medium And I just wanted to mention again you have done something spooky and cool with cool charecter designs and you should be proud Have a nice day bye!
