Hello hello! Ah, my favorite character from the show: Arlong. I very much like the posing and how you played with proportions. I can agree with you regarding shilluuet: it is breaking nice and yet is an interesting shape. With a bit more structure in approach, you will be off on a good start to elevate your figure drawing. That will also offer more freedom to develop the style you have here! What I did in feedback is mostly breaking down figure into simple shapes. The mannequin method is frequently quite successful and beneficial for learning (later on self-correction as well). Your comprehension of how each element interacts and overlaps with the volume of a human shape will be improved. It is usually simple to understand and breaks down into fundamental geometric shapes (spheres, cylinders, triangles, and squares). You will not have any trouble drawing people in any pose. This mannequin is a bit more advanced because i think you will be able to handle such an approach over a very geometric one (but you can use whatever suits you the best). For the next drawing, gather some reference and try to do an action pose with a sword. Hope it helps! Happy learning!
