Hello hello! Understanding general light and how it bounces off objects and casts shadows is the foundation of good values. To get a good start, we must locate the light's source, which in this case is above the figure. We keep in mind that every element in the image is a distinct 3D element when creating a shadow map of it. With this information, we may accurately position the shadows to reduce the image's flat effect. Shadows will be visible on the planes that are not facing the light source. Use the cell shading method to keep everything apart. Later, you can apply a gradient or slightly blend shadows on the curve parts, like i did on top of the cape. By adding an additional layer of shadow in the darkest places, like a gradient inside the coat, we can enhance the base set value which give picture more dimension. Hope it helps! | Artwod Feedback
