Hello hello! You did a fantastic job creating the mood in this dark scene. We can make the situation more believable with a few adjustments! The first thing I did was reduce the intensity of the image (saturation) and generally reduce the brightness of the image. This gives us a real feeling that the figures are set in a dark space with minimal light. The lights placed in the image will be more prominent on the figure that is closer to the light source than on the second figure that leans on darker side. This adds dimension to the figures as well. Prior to adding ambient light, make sure the core shadows are solid. If not, it can easily cause confusion. Additionally, shadows will appear stronger without the need for additional values if we increase the light's intensity on a figure that receives the majority of the light. For final touch, we can add an intense overly layer on the figures for a warm fire effect. Hope it helps!
