I love Kvothe ! I am not an anatomy expert but your legs seems fine to me. For the lighting I think you didn't darken enough. Also a good rule is to shade with another color, preferably a cold one if your light is warm ( and vice versa). Also be clear about were the light is coming from. Here I would guess top left and on the same plane as him, so no fire hair on the right. I hope it helps.

I struggle a lot with the connection of the torso to the legs and feel like the legs are “off” but I’m not sure what to fix to make it look better… also any sort of shading or lighting tips would be great!! I want the focal points to be his face but also the broken lute in his hand but I feel like I may have darkened it too much
