You are’t far off here. A little perspective practice will help you place the facial features. For coloring/rendering, try to pick out a base color for the hair, then create lighter values and darker values of that same color. Use the freehand selection tool to draw your hair ribbons and fill them with the values. Same goes for the skin. A base color and one darker and one lighter. I hope this gives you some ideas on what to practice. Keep working at it and you’ll get there.

I struggle with hair dept in the front aswell as facial proportions....the collar isnt done because I want to improve the hair and face first...I dont understand them.....the eye looks weird and out off place, and so does the mouth no matter where I place it. The hair feels like a solid chunk of block rather than hair. Even i plan the shadows and lights i cant execute it.
