Hi, nice drawing, to move with color I would approach it like that: Since I use Photoshop I would use levels to push lineart more into black, than Layer Style, activating by double clicking text field in layer tab, selecy white slider in current layer to make sort of mask for lineart, without sacrificing what you did. Having that I created new layer under masked lineart for initial color block in. Paint what you have in mind. Additional steps to clean line art and make it fully masked, make empty layer on top and merge with lineart, so you will loose unnecessary transparency info. HAving that you can ctr select on layer image in layer tab and make your lineart unified on the new layer with paint bucket tool. If you are not using photoashop and you don;t have youe line art on separate layer, I;d say redraw it and use the same approach, start with color under, later introsuce second value for light and shadow. After being satisfied with the color painting under lineart, I would move to painting on top os line art , but on the new layer, cleaning it adding more lighr and shadow, and detail.
