hello! so just a point of clarification: in order to give the full feedback with draw-overs, i’ve split this reply into 2 parts. (as far as i know, the feedback tool currently doesn’t allow multiple draw-overs for the same comment; but if you know a way for me to post both in one comment, please let me know!) for this first part, i show the map i made for lining up the eyes. for the second part, i show the illustration with the eye aligned to the map that i used: (part 1) i wanted to respect your original drawing and artistic decisions, so i constructed a facial/cranial map based on the contours of the character’s face. (for this part of my feedback, i’ve included a draw-over of the map i used that i attempted to construct with respect to the facial construction that you established in your original illustration). from that map and the general directionality and placement of the features, i think that the reason the eye looks a bit off in your original illustration is that the eye closer to the viewer does not align with the indentation that indicates the edge shape of the eye socket. it also seems like in the original illustration, with consideration for the angle at which the character is depicted, there is more than a single eye-length space in between the two eyes. following the map of the character’s face, i believe that changing these slight misalignments will help improve things. | Artwod Feedback
