I'm really impressed with your drawing skill! Your hands, face, and feet look really good and even tackling a fat character can be difficult but I think you nailed it. I am by no means a character designer, but I will try my best to help! I think what will help you most is simplifying your shapes. A strong character design usually means having strong shapes. -For example, the head and face! If I were to outline it, it would bear no resemblence to any basic shape and it would be hard to even recall it from memory. So what I did was I simplified it into an egg shape and instantly it feels a lot more confident! I did the same with all of the elements of your drawing. The hair I grouped up into simple geometric shapes of big, medium, and small sizes. I also did this for his loincloth and made the rips into simple shapes. All those random sharp tears yours had lack form and cohesion. I enlarged his club because it wasn't very striking as it was. When you design a very simply dressed character, it's a good opportunity to go crazy with their accessories! Make the club the focal point of the design or maybe give him a necklace made of skulls to be the focus. You need at least one thing that really stands out and is unique. (Speaking of the club, at some point I realised I didn't know how to tie a rock to a stick so I gave up lol) Even the shapes of the hair and face can be that if it's pushed enough. I hope I was able to help! | Artwod Feedback
