What a cool design! A good idea would be to hide the piece away for a week and come back to it and maybe see some things you'd change. It can be difficult to figure out what needs to be done, but hopefully I can help! I think why your piece feels unfinished is because there is a bit of a lack of information when it comes to the shading. If I'm not mistaken, you used an airbrush to soften out your shadows and this can make your image confusing if not used in the right places. -It's important to have a mix of soft edges AND hard edges when shading. Beyond simply conveying light and dark areas, shading also dictates form. -For example, the planes of the face. In your piece you used a line to indicate her left cheekbone which could have better been illustrated using a hard edge shadow. Or even when you're painting different materials! A robe will be shaded differently than her skin. Do some studies on how light interacts with form and maybe challenge yourself to shade using only hard edges with at least 3 values! You can see in the cube and sphere how hard edges and soft edges change the feel of an object. Another quick improvement you can make to your art is just varying the line weight. Just by thickening your lines, you can see how the piece feels more confident and how it separates the hand in the foreground from you character in the background, creating depth. I hope this makes sense and that it helps give you a direction to go with your art!
