Delete your account

Delete your ArtWod account

Art-WOD BV runs ArtWod. You can delete your account yourself, on the website or in the ArtWod app.

  1. Sign in at artwod.com, or open the ArtWod app.
  2. Open Settings, then Data & account.
  3. Choose Delete my account.
  4. Type DELETE, then choose Delete my account again to confirm.

Can't sign in or reach Settings, or Settings says it can't delete your account? Email [email protected] from the address on your account, and we will delete it for you.

What we delete

  • Right away: your name, username, photo, banner, bio and social handles.
  • Your email address and sign-in methods, so no one can sign in to the account again.
  • If you have a subscription, we cancel it right away.
  • We stop sending you newsletters and app notifications.
  • We delete or anonymise your other personal data within 30 days.

What we keep

  • Your artwork, comments and feedback stay in the community as "Deleted user", without your name.
  • Records the law or our policies require us to keep, such as accounting and payment records, moderation files and records that you accepted the terms.
  • Backups. We overwrite them within 90 days.

You cannot undo a deletion. Read more in section 12 of the Privacy Policy, or ask us on the Support page.
