Hey, main subject here for me is the general approach to the "painterly" side of things.. aka the general feeling of the surfaces, the colors, the color blending, the brushwork, etc. Especially maybe on intricate detailled parts like the eyes.
I basically want to find a sweet spot between smooth and "painterly" approach to my brushwork, I'm not a fan of plastic renderings but also would like to have a "finished" feeling to it nonetheless.. I'm afraid it's all very subjective!
