I basically just added some gradients with the airbrush and played around with layer modes! It basically comes down to playing with contrast, gradients, and layer modes until things look right. Don't be afraid to use those tools at your disposal! I personally used add and multiply to get the effect I wanted, but experiment with different layer modes and see what works best! I would also go in with a correction layer (if your art program has them) afterwards if you still aren't happy with the effect and play around with the contrast, brightness, and saturation settings. I don't know how to: A: Render the flame in the lantern And B: How to shade with this light source while considering the darkness around them. (There are other problems with this drawing but I'm choosing to ignore them for now cause they aren't my main issue)
