Hey! Good work so far, you already have a solid foundation. :) And you actually pointed out the main issue yourself: the forms don't read very clearly because the edges aren't well defined yet. Ideally, you'd want to use harder edges to better define the shapes of the fingers, the rose, and the hand as a whole. The same applies to the light shapes on both the fingers and the rose—using firmer edges will make the forms much easier to read. Once those major forms are clearly established, you can start introducing softer edges to create a contrast between hard and soft edges. That contrast not only adds visual interest, but also helps guide the viewer's eye toward the areas you want them to focus on. Hope this helps! :) | Artwod Feedback
