I think you just need to spend a bit more time working on the anatomy of the head. It already looked perfect when I used the ‘Liquify’ tool to make the head more proportionate. But I did a repaint because you asked for help with the lights and shadows as well. As I don’t have the original reference, I apologise if the face looks very different from the original person. I love ur art <3

This isn't the final anything, but this is a basic block in of hair, rearrangement of features to a more "normalized" proportions, and some basic shading. I also adjusted your shadow to be warm and your highlight remained cool. If I was to finish this paint over process, I would obviously add highlights and shadows to the air and finish a lot of the details, but hopefully this helps?

My first question becomes: what is your process? Could you walk us through it? Do you do a sketch? Do you have those sketches available for us to see? Are you using references? If so, what kind? Building some kind of structure before you jump in to painting is a valuable thing. The more you draw using references, the more the anatomy starts to make sense. Eyes on a curved plane, the face as a shield shape, etc...
