you are getting close. Good job on gathering reference and breaking away from the reference with the design work. not sure if this helps. keep going.

I’m really bad at drawing faces in cartoon style. I can get the body down (albeit 2D only, and I did have to trace the hands), but it is just missing something. I’d just like some help with creating a face and making it pop. I do have background and other aspects to the piece, I am just looking for help with the portrait. This one in particular, doesn’t hit the same as my other 3. 3/4
