I love your colors and the rendering, pink lashes are also a super nice detail But the head construction is wrong, you decided to have a head tilt, the eyes are tilted, but nose, mouth and shin are not. This kills the believability, so always make sure to construct furst/check construction lines while painting Making a mistake with construction made the hair grow from a weird place, further ruining the believability I hope this helps!! Hey there! Here's a lil painting fixing the perspective, it was slightly off. So that's why the hair looked kind of off, even tho the volume was there. Hope this helps! :)

The issue lies in the values: The shadow depth within the hair is far too shallow compared to the face shading, creating a noticeable mismatch. Additionally, the actual light color must influence the base hair color; otherwise, the hair looks completely disconnected from the rest. So for example pink hair will look purplish in blue light-shadow environment by design.
