Hi! Love the color choice and the pose. The pattern on the hair is a really cool design choice. The pose looks strange because the basic construction is off. Even highly stylized drawings need to be grounded in reality. Her chest is directed towards bottom right, pelvis- extreme right (classic case of spine breaking), and head is rooted in the shoulder instead of center of the body. I adjusted parts of the figure accordingly. Try replicate the pose you got in your mind in front of the mirror and see what is possible. Additional changes: - rounded tail shape to add repeated pattern of circular forms for more cohesion - gave more volume to the skirt to emphasize foreshortening - changed leg position to give more attitude Hope it helps.
