Hi! I might have an idea for you. Do you have a box of cereal at home? Or a book with an illustration on the cover? Try placing the box or the book in the same spots as the light blue shapes. You’ll see that the central symbol changes depending on the perspective, and that’s exactly the point of the exercise! It’s a mental exercise that takes a little practice, but once you get the hang of it, it’s like riding a bike, you never forget. Start with the basic 2D shape, like a picture on a cereal box or figure on book before moving on to the edges that add depth , such as children’s building blocks. Let me know if this helps or if you’re starting to get the hang of it.
Okay , thankyou but i still don’t get how to carve the shapes out in a believable way, The assignment is: Carve these shapes out of the given forms. Make sure to draw your shape on the highlighted plane. Is there a way to practice that too? Or will it click when i practice with a book or cereal boxs like you said? Thank you again!

Maybe it's the word “cut out” that's tripping you up? Before the cut out, first, try placing the arrow on the shape, like in my example with the book or cereal box. Next, when it comes to cutting out, aside from the pre-cut cubes for kids, I don't see any other way to help you visualize the cutting shape.
