Hi! Apologies for the not-so-great demonstration since I'm on a laptop. I think you're making some of the angles a bit too high and there are some cases where you should consider the surroundings of the face (like the shoulders being twisted in the first image, so the face should be a bit higher and implying that it's turned to the opposite side). If you're still having trouble spotting what you're doing wrong, I believe you could try directly going over the reference image and comparing your attempts, then seeing where you went wrong. I hope this helps a bit!
Thanks! So now I’m not sure where the main circle fits in it all. For the first drawing paint over you have it going to the eyes, but the 2nd paint over it is all the way down near his nose, I know there is not really a standard head, but what am I missing? Thanks again
So sorry for the late reply! I only used the circle to help see the direction that the face is pointing. I'm on laptop so the lines aren't very accurate and I hope you don't base everything around what I painted over. Please feel free to ignore them.
