Hi there, Firstly, awesome work. This is a really great drawing with cool manipulated forms. I find when starting rendering it helps to have a rough background sketch to indicate the perspective. Establishing the lighting is personal choice. In your image it looks like a fairly straight forward light from above, which I have indicated with the red light source cone. I've added a darker gradient background to help establish values. Your light skin values were pure white, so darkening then would help to show where the high-lights hit the skin and then just starting to block in some deeper shadows and highlights to show the 3dness of the forms. I feel like rendering is also a very individual stylistic choice so see what feel good to you. I've lastly tried my best to block in the primitive shapes for the simplified hands. I hope it helps.
