Hey! I took a look at your one-man-band Musician. First off, I absolutely love this concept. The whole tinkerer/musician aesthetic instantly gave me Arcane vibes—it has that really cool, gritty, hextech-style energy to it! To help you push the structural logic and visual punch even further, I did a quick paint-over focusing on a few key areas: Dynamic Stance: In the original, the walking pose feels a little stiff. I widened his stance, bent his knees, and shifted his weight to give him a much more action-ready, energetic gesture—like he's right in the middle of a heavy performance. Pushing Proportions: I exaggerated the size of the instruments (the tuba and the drum) and broadened his shoulders. Scaling up these key elements gives him a much stronger, more imposing silhouette. Design & Storytelling Details: To push the character design a bit further, I introduced sharper, more graphic shapes into his clothing, like the pinstripes, the music note buckle, and those chunkier, modified boots with the mini-horns built right into them. Tying the musical elements directly into his wardrobe (rather than just having him carry them) makes the design feel much more cohesive and intentional. You have a fantastic foundation and a really creative idea here. Keep up the great work, and I hope this visual breakdown gives you some fun ideas to play with in your next pass!
This feedback is freaking good!
Thank you sir!
Could you DM on Discord? Gotta ask you something :))
Ofc!
I really apprechiate the deteiled feedback and the paintover! Sorry for my late reply i just didnt had the time the last days. I really love what u did to the design and especially the pose and how u pushed them. It just gives him so much more energy and the graphic shapes/Details are making the design so much more interesting and eyecatching. I really look forward to implement ur criticism in my next designs :)
