So for silhouette in my opinion the absolute most important thing is shape language detail doesn’t matter if the character isn’t recognizable. So I would suggest trying different shapes for you characters, try not to use to many shapes that are the same size/similar. Work from the shape of your character inward until you get the silhouette. I’ve always designed my characters with three anchors there what make my characters, usually, hair shape, color, accessory. These are anchors they explain the character visually and tell their story and can add to the silhouette. For example say the character is an alien they might have something like an anti gravity gun or something. You can then add that to the silhouette by attaching it to thair back or arm or maybe it’s actually fused to the body. The goal is to have a simple mannequin and slowly sculpt it into the personality you see. Looking at your character something that will help immediately is a visual point like making the underwear and sock brighter. finding where you want the viewer to look and making something stick out there and making it naturally draw the eyes. Anyway I’m sorry I kind of ranted I hope this helps or at least gives some insight. Your character is dope and I hope you continue to grow as an artist🙏 | Artwod Feedback
