Right now, all three panels use the exact same camera angle and framing, so it feels more like the same drawing repeated three times rather than a comic sequence. For example, you could do something like: Panel 1: A wider shot showing the environment and introducing the character. Panel 2: A closer shot of the face or upper body to build tension. Panel 3: An extreme close-up of the smile or eyes for a stronger payoff. This is a very common sequence where you show a wide shot, a medium shot and a close-up shot; I could say that's something standard. For now, instead of trying to focus on rendering shadows or getting something more refined, focus on improving your storytelling skills. Storytelling is crucial for anything, not only for comics.
