Hi. General shape of the head is good, nice shapes. Nose looks good. There is something wrong with the eyes tho. The planes of the eyes looking out of perspective you've set up. Same for the lips. There is also a problem with ears structure but i can't draw ears myself so yeah. About values i can't really help you. You sure know that curved surfaces have smooth transition from light to shadow (but not as smooth as you did there on the forehead) and straight objects like planes have the same value all over them. But i am not an expert on values so no feedback on that. Watch some tutorials by Marc Brunet, Marco Bucci and just draw and practice along. Good luck bro! I am trying to practice some anatomy without a reference image, just to get into the habit of being able to conjure up faces. Could you give some pointers on anatomical knowhow and how that informs values? I am used to actual sketchpads, so using procreate is a bit new to me. I’m using Aaron Blaise’s "pastel c" as a brush.

Perspective & Elipses

Hello Artwod community! This is my first post. Ive begun my art journey by trying to understand and draw what I am best at opposed to what I want to do first. This drawing focuses on 1st point perspective and is done with relatively basic shapes so I could understand how they come together in a 3d space. I love watching cartoons like my little Pony and My Life as a Teenage Robot, so I blended background styles to see what I could make with my Imagination. Any sort of constructive criticism will be very appreciative! I have been trying to hoan in my precision skills when drawing lines, as this was entirely done with my non dominant hand. If you have any good tips for practice, id love to hear it!

Don quijote polish

Hello! I have been trying to make a polished version of the character as a finished concept, but i don’t feel like it’s quite there yet. I tried giving the drawing some material separation and shadows. My main problema is the lighting. In a drawing meant for a concept art polished picture, i don’t know if this light is enough or if i have to add a stronger light source. I also wanted to ask for help with the construction. I often find myself making mistakes with the proportions or the prespective but i have been looking at this for so long that maybe i just can’t see them. As allways, if there is somethinig i missed that could be fixed, ley me know. Thanks!

Something feels off; I'm quite spotty with the hands. But I'm also a bit iffy with the feet. The shadow creature behind her has a rather stiff pose in comparison to the front character as well. Your feedback will be appreciated! :)

Character rendering and lighting

Hi, I am struggling to figure out how to shade my character and his clothes especially with the color black that I used for the jacket. I haven't really decided on a light source, but ideally it's coming from the left side of him. Considering the materials as well I wanted it to be a cloth like material for the jacket and regular jeans. I would appreciate any help and input on this thanks.
