Hello! Your drawing of Kit is so cute! I think that the head neck connection is okay! I totally understand what you're saying, sometimes that area gives me trouble too. I thought that she already had a nice dynamic pose, but you can make it feel more dynamic by pushing the foreshortening (things that are closer to the "camera" are larger, and vice versa). I thought it looked like she was reaching out to the viewer, so I made that hand a lot bigger. You can push the depth even more by using lineweight, with thicker lines for closer objects, and thinner lines for farther objects. I did it a little bit just to give you an idea, but of course you can take it farther. Another way to make it look more dynamic is to notice parts of the character that can "flow" to emphasize their movement. In this case, I think that Kit's ears and tail have a lot of potential!
