Composition seems undone

These fish need whiskers!

I think everything seems muted, too many midtones, the reflection of the leaves could go darker, and I think needs some highlights, those ripples you could have way brighter.

I think the composition is working quite well! if I had to give a suggestion It would be to have the fish enter in from above or going into the roatation with the other fish that way you dont lose the
