Hey! I'd like to add a few thoughts as well. :) The main thing I would change is the lighting of the scene as a whole. Right now, it feels a bit flat because the lighting isn't clearly defined, which causes most of the scene to fall within a very similar value range. You don't always have to follow the "dark foreground, bright midground/background" approach. It all depends on the mood and visual hierarchy you want to achieve. In this case, I think it would be interesting to keep the foreground illuminated while placing the midground in shadow, perhaps cast by a large cloud. Doing this naturally makes the characters become the primary focal point of the scene. It also improves the visual flow of the composition, allowing the viewer's eye to start in the foreground and gradually travel through the image toward the background. Also, don't forget to apply atmospheric perspective to the elements in your background. It will help reinforce the sense of depth and separate the different planes more effectively.
